Our Purpose

The Association is committed to:

• Providing opportunities for boys and girls to play lacrosse through an association affiliated with and sanctioned by the British Columbia Lacrosse Association (BCLA).
• Fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the game of lacrosse and the positive values of organized sport throughout the Parksville, Qualicum Beach, and surrounding communities.
• Promoting, teaching, and preserving the sport of lacrosse for current and future generations.
• Instilling the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play in all participants.
• Encouraging mutual respect among players, coaches, officials, volunteers, parents, and spectators.

OMLA is dedicated to creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment where every player can develop their skills, build confidence, form lasting friendships, and enjoy the many benefits of participating in sport.
